Love You Forever

I was commissioned to make this quilt and was more than tempted to keep it for myself!  I'm in love with this quilt.  The client requested a modern, bohemian feeling quilt in shades of purple.  With a little inspiration from Emily Cier at Carolina Patchworks, this purple quilt that makes me green with envy was created.

If you have not read the children's book,  Love You Forever, you are missing out.  Such a sweet story!  This book was the inspiration behind the quilting on this quilt.  This was quilt was given to a daughter from her mother.  When I asked if there were any special things between the two of them, she said Love You Forever was their favorite book to read together.

Love...see the partial heart

You...clamshell "U" shapes

Forever...figure 8 shape resembles infinity symbol

Such a fun quilt to have pieced and quilted...most certainly on my list of quilts to make for myself!
