I will change the world by...

Love these quilts!!  SMG class of 2012 has created two one of a kind quilts in which the students have written how they feel they can change the world.

Quilted in an all over design of Paisley.

Quilt Top.  This Irish Chain quilt is pieced by a very talented parent - perfection as always, Isabel!  Quilt design - all over Paisley.  CLICK TO ENLARGE.

Don't you just LOVE this nine patched pieced back!?!  Quilt design - all over Paisley.    CLICK TO ENLARGE.
I guess I better get working on quilt number two, an equally beautiful quilt in the same pattern in blue and white!

To Benefit Foster Children's Christmas Project

An incredibly sweet lady created this precious quilt to raffle off for the South Dallas Foster Parent's Association.  All money raised will go to the Christmas project to help purchase gifts for foster children in the Dallas area.  This picture is just of the center panel of the quilt.  I will update with a picture of the finished quilt and information on where you can purchase raffle quilts or make a donation should you choose.

The quilt is complete!

You lucky dog!

Tell me you wouldn’t be one proud pooch to have the chance at resting your paws on this sassy quilt!!  One of my clients is embarking (sorry, I couldn’t help myself) on a new adventure of starting a business making custom quilts for pets.  All of you pet parents out there know our furry friends really are members of the family.  What says love and family better than a quilt?!?

French Braid of the Tropics

It is done!  What a stunning king size quilt!!  Notice the little curved blob at the bottom of the picture....that would be my six month pregnant belly making its way into the shot.

Quilted with Crescents and Swirls in the body of the quilt. I have yet to meet a quilt that does not look great with this overall pattern.   (Click picture to enlarge.)

Ferns in the setting triangles.  (Click to enlarge.)

Doesn't this quilt just make you want to run away to the beach?  Such beautiful batik fabrics in shades of blue.  Mommy's little quilting helper, Jett, is ready to get started!  Excited to be posting my first actual quilt in progress.  Stay tuned for updates...

Lucky Little Girl and Dollie

What a great idea!  With the left over material from creating a baby blanket and changing pad, she made a matching doll blanket and changing pad.  Sounds like a little baby's big sister is going to get a fun gift too.  Quilted with Blooming Paisley pattern.

Georgia On My Mind

Beautiful sampler quilt in Fall colors....ah....Fall colors!! And who is not ready for Fall with this insane heat wave!!!

We decided to go with a Blooming Paisley pattern for the outer border, Curling Vine for the inner border, and a Feathered Curling Vine with Leaves for the main body of the quilt.

My little quilting helper, Jett, insisted on having his picture taken while I was snapping shots of the gorgeous quilt. I must be raising him right. Quilts put a smile on the sweet face of his!
